Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is the top priority in every area where Alkataş Construction and Contracting Inc. operates, and this commitment is reflected in the slogan "protect your health, protect your work." To ensure a safe and healthy working environment, all employees of Alkataş Construction and Contracting Inc. are required to do what is necessary within their respective areas of authority. Protecting employees and others from foreseeable hazards associated with business activities, processes, and work systems.
Providing Personal Protective Equipment and tools, and ensuring they are used when required.
When new materials, facilities, machinery, equipment, or processes are introduced, ensuring adequate guidance, instructions, training, and supervision are provided to develop safe working methods.
Ensuring that all facilities and equipment are kept in a safe condition and are subject to routine and statutory inspections and examinations.
Ensuring that subcontractors carrying out work for Alkataş Construction and Contracting Inc. are informed of the required standards and are monitored to ensure compliance with the OHS-related rules set by Alkataş Construction and Contracting Inc., without deviating from their legal responsibilities.
